Nicole Jacklin
R.A.D. C.D.T.A.
Artistic Director Principal,
Nicole began her teaching career in 1997
and opened her own studio in 1999. Since then she has
successfully entered numerous students into Royal Academy Ballet and
Canadian Dance Teachers Association exams. Her choreography and
guidance has led the competition team to award winning performances.
She continues to take workshops and seminars to upgrade her
qualifications and pass up-to-date techniques to her students. |

Therese Nicolas
B.F.A. R.A.D., I.S.T.D., C.D.T.A.
Therese has had a passion for dance for over 20
years. She studied dance at Simcoe Dance Academy in Barrie and
went to further her studies of dance at Ryerson University where she
earned her B.F.A. She is a fully qualified dance teacher with
the Royal Academy of Dance as well as an associate member with the
Imperial
Society of Teachers of Dance and
with the Canadian Dance
Teachers Association.
Therese has choreographed high school musicals under the direction
of Paul Dunn as well as the production of
Oliver!
with Talk is Free Theatre
in Barrie. She has performed in various Ryerson dance
productions and recently danced aboard Carnival Cruise Lines in the
sunny Caribbean. Therese has been an instructor with Moving
Art for the past couple of years, in which she has traveled to many
elementary schools teaching students dance and drama.
Therese is thrilled to being teaching here at Nicole Jacklin School
of Dance and Performing Arts and looks forward to meeting and
sharing her love of dance with everyone. |

Jennifer Brinston
B.F.A. (Hons)
Associate teacher and choreographer, Jennifer is a graduate of York University’s fine arts Cultural Studies program with a double major Specializing in Dance and Professional Writing. Some or her studies include modern technique, choreography, musical theatre, acting Shakespeare, voice and performance. Some of her acknowledgments are: Principal for York production of the musical “Gold Rush”; Director and creator of York Film “They Tied Her To A Kitchen Chair”; Playwright of “He Said He Would Write” She has received instruction under renowned choreographers and trainers such as Shawn Byfield and Jeiani Adele and is currently an active member of Nexx Level Dance Company.

Michelle Duguay
Associate teacher and choreographer, Michelle is accredited with 15 yrs of experience as a competitive gymnastic coach and an acrobatic dance and jazz choreographer. She also has 15 years experience in Ball Room dancing and 7 years of competitive figure skating. She brings to the art of dance a strong knowledge of excellent form and technique along with 25 years of practical and instructional experience. |

Jill Eisener
Jill Eisener was a student at the Nicole Jacklin School of Dance for 10 years, and has been teaching for 4 years. In that time she successfully completed her RAD Intermediate Ballet exam and her Advanced CDTA Jazz exam. Jill has also trained at The Quinte Ballet School, and Toronto Dance Theatre. She is currently continuing her education at York University where she is completing her Honours in Bachelor of Fine Arts degree specializing in dance to pursue a career as a dance teacher. |

Kelsey Leonard
Kelsey Leonard has been a student of dance with Miss Nicole for 14 years. She has been a teacher and choreographer at the studio for 2 years. Kelsey successfully completed her RAD Intermediate Ballet exam and is currently enrolled in the RAD Advanced 1 Ballet Vocational Program. She has been a competitive dancer for 10 years. Kelsey is excited to be sharing her love of dance with her students. |
