Nicole Jacklin

Artistic Director; Principal,

Nicole began her teaching career in 1997 and opened her own studio in 1999. Since then she has successfully entered primary through advanced students into Royal Academy of Dance and Canadian Dance Teachers Association exams. Her choreography and guidance has led the competitive team to many award winning performances. Students under her direction have been accepted into such prestigious summer programs as The Nation Ballet School of Canada, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Quinte Ballet School professional program, and The American Ballet Theatre. Students have also gone on to continue their dance education at York University and George Brown Collage. Nicole continues to take workshops and seminars to upgrade her qualifications; she is excited to share her passion and love of dance with all her students and staff.

Therese Nicholas
B.F.A., B.Ed., R.A.D., I.S.T.D., C.D.T.A.

Associate Director and choreographer

Under her guidance many students have successfully passed RAD examinations and competitive students have benefited from her choreography. She has led high school musicals under the direction of Paul Dunn as well as the production of Oliver with Talk is Free Theatre in Barrie. She has performed in various Ryerson dance productions and recently danced aboard Carnival Cruise Lines in the Caribbean.

Stephanie Brash
B.F.A., B.Ed.

Stephanie is a graduate of York University’s Theatre program majoring in performance and directing. She also received a Bachelor of Education from York University, with a Drama Specialization. As a director and choreographer, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School her plays and musicals have won numerous awards and many of her students have gone on to successful careers in the performing arts.

Jill Eisener

Jill was a student at the Nicole Jacklin School of Dance for 10 years and has been teaching for 5 years. In that time she completed her RAD Intermediate Ballet exam and her Advanced CDTA Jazz exam. Jill has also trained at The Quinte Ballet School and Toronto Dance Theatre. She is currently in her 4th year at York University where she is completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours degree specializing in dance.

Kathleen Bellamy

Kathleen has been a student of dance with Miss Nicole for 12 years. She is a competitive dancer and teacher. Kathleen has successfully passed her RAD Intermediate Ballet exam and is currently enrolled in the RAD Advanced 1 Vocational program. Dancing and teaching dance is her passion.

Logan Verlinde

Logan has been a student of dance with Miss Nicole for 10 years, on the competitive team for 9 years and is now a teacher at the studio. Logan has successfully passed her RAD Intermediate Ballet exam and is currently enrolled in the RAD Advanced 1 Ballet Vocational Program. Logan is eager to share her excitement and commitment to dance with her students.
